Let me first come to the point and say that a notary must not refuse or reject the services of attorney to someone with the excuse that “only the work of mortgages.”
I mean the people who got his notary commission for agents that can work as a notary signature. It’s like they are saying, authenticate to the general public not worth it. It is not as profitable. Why should they do something for those who only receive a few dollars for the firm, plus a trip fee?

I am a mobile notary. I meet many interesting people and drive through one of the most beautiful areas in the US. After working in law offices for over 20 years, I love working out of my home and car.
I travel to people’s homes, workplaces, and medical facilities. It is fascinating to see the different ways people live, work, and get care. I have been welcomed into mansions and campers. I have walked through ankle-deep carpet in high-rise offices. I have stood on muddy ground and sworn in construction workers who were perched high above me on roof trusses. I’ve applied my seal to documents while aboard rocking sailboats.
I have witnessed the signatures of happy couples signing adoption papers. I have rushed to deathbed signings of Wills where everyone is quiet and kind. I have cuddled 6-day-old Labrador puppies. I have seen highly improbable hair colors on the heads of toothless women. I have had men insist that I admire framed photos of them holding large dead fish.
Notary public can usually be found at banks, copy centers, and private offices. They welcome walk-in clients and operate during business hours.
However most people who need notarial services are either working during the day or unable to leave their homes and offices due to various reasons. They will have to wait until they get off work late afternoon and find a notary public whose office is open later into the evening or over the weekends.
